Take a lil’ off the bottom

So, I got this skirt the other day at Goodwill. I thought the pattern was great. The length was not-pretty frumpy! This is what I did: first, I cut 5 inches off the bottom. Next I measured up 3/4″ and ironed it up all the way around. I then turned it up another 3/4″ to hide the raw edge and ironed that down and pinned. Now you take it to the machine and sew. So easy and now I have an awesome new skirt for spring!
